Open Positions:

Vice President, Research & Academic Healthcare (1): The entrepreneurial leader of the Research, Scientific/Lab Supply, and Academic Healthcare category, and the subject matter expert as it relates to developing the strategic vision and leading the creation and execution of the business plan in support of that vision. Analyze and interpret competitive intelligence and spend data, for the identification and development of new contract opportunities and to enhance and improve existing national and regional contracts for the Higher Education markets. This position may work from our corporate office in Jericho, NY or remotely.

Director, Supplier Diversity (1): Lead, promote, and coordinate E&I’s supplier diversity program and initiatives. This position is responsible for designing and overseeing supplier diversity spend reporting of E&I Business Partners. Location flexible.

Sr. Sourcing Consultant (1): Develop, lead, and manage consultative relationships between E&I and its largest members by communicating the overall value and competitive advantage of the Cooperative as a strategic sourcing partner. This position will expand contract portfolio utilization, increase spend on contract, and improve the member experience by maximizing their education dollars. This will be accomplished by building on extensive higher ed procurement leadership experience (at least 10 years) to present member-focused solutions; utilize data analytics; and develop/deploy procurement strategies using proven sourcing methodologies within higher education. One position available in the west region.

Sourcing Consultant (3): Develop, lead, and manage consultative relationships between E&I and its mid-market members by communicating the overall value and competitive advantage of the Cooperative as a strategic sourcing partner. This position will expand contract portfolio utilization, increase spend on contract, and improve the member experience by maximizing their education dollars. This will be accomplished by building on extensive higher ed procurement experience (at least 7 years) to present member-focused solutions; utilize data analytics; and develop/deploy procurement strategies using proven sourcing methodologies within higher education. One position in the west and two positions in the east region.

Strategic Sourcing Analyst (1): Lead the execution of member-specific, quantitative analyses in support of E&I’s Sourcing Consultants. The Strategic Sourcing Analyst will drive analytical efforts by conducting spend analyses, developing cost baselines, building competitive solicitation market basket item lists, performing contract benchmarking, and additional quantitative analyses required in the sourcing process for a range of spend categories. Location flexible.

Salesforce Administrator (1): Serve as the primary system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment in the execution of the day-to-day configurations, support, maintenance, and improvement of E&I’s Salesforce Lightning CRM platform. Location flexible.
