Open Positions:

Category Analyst: This role is responsible for leading the execution of quantitative analyses in support of the Sourcing and Member Engagement teams and select member institutions.

The Category Analyst will drive analytical efforts by conducting spend analyses, developing cost baselines, building competitive solicitation market basket item lists, performing contract benchmarking, and all other types of quantitative analyses required in the sourcing process for a broad range of spend categories. Additionally, the Category Analyst will provide dashboards and operational metrics to assess supplier and contract performance.

Business Relationship Manager, Construction, Energy and Facilities: This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships between suppliers, members, and E&I for a mixed portfolio of businesses, with the largest focus on Grainger. The responsibility includes developing strategies to strengthen relationships, manage supplier and contract performance, meet or exceed financial plans, resolve issues, and ensure contracts and performance continuously improve to meet the needs of the members. This position plays an active role with cross-functional teams requiring strong communication and analytics skills.

HR Manager, Employee Services & Benefits: E&I has an exciting opportunity for an HR Manager, Employee Services & Benefits in our Human Resources department. Under the direction of the Director, Human Resources, this position is primarily responsible for supporting and servicing internal and external stakeholders with exceptional service while representing E&I in the most professional manner. Fostering and integrating our core values into the daily work, this position will provide a high level of support to the Director, Human Resources as it relates to the needs and services of our employees.

Business Development Executive, General Products & Services:  Will work directly in our Member Engagement department and will work closely with the General Products & Services team and relevant suppliers to positively impacting our member’s needs by developing plans for business and revenue growth within the assigned categories.  The BDE will achieve their plans by directly selling to customers and providing sales support to peers on the Member Engagement Team. The BDE will develop appropriate messaging, identify targets, qualify prospects, manage a sales pipeline, close new business, and transition post-sales support to the Member Success Team.

Manager, Contract & Compliance:Reporting to the SVP, Sourcing, the Manager, Contract and Compliance will be responsible for the contract administration while maintaining integrity and accuracy of contract records and ensuring contract compliance relevant to member, state, and federal requirements. This position will conduct regular reviews of compliance regulations, incorporate changes into the E&I contract process, communicate the changes, and perform audits on selected activities, Master Agreements, adopted Lead Public Agency contracts and Negotiated contracts.

E-Procurement Systems Administrator: Reporting to the Director; Innovation & Insights, the E-Procurement Systems Administrator will be responsible for E&I’s eProcurement Marketplace’s primary point of contact for multiple internal and external stakeholders by providing Level I Customer Support to E&I Members, as indicated below, addressing Marketplace-related questions from end users, acting as a liaison for forwarding Level II support items to EqualLevel for remediation, and managing and maintaining the onboarding of E&I Members and E&I Business Partners. In addition is responsible for the overall maintenance of the Marketplace configuration and organizational structure, and will utilize insights gained from internal stakeholder suggestions, end user feedback and Marketplace analytics, to recommend structure enhancements and feature upgrades to optimize contract utilization and optimize the user experience.

Sourcing Consultant – Great Plains Territory: The Sourcing Consultant, supporting our Members in North & South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri, will be responsible for developing, leading, and managing the consultative relationship between E&I and its members by communicating the overall value and competitive advantage of E&I as a strategic sourcing partner. Helping members understand how and where E&I can help them in support of their sourcing strategy, analyzing their spend to generate insights about where they can leverage E&I contracts to avoid cost, save time and resources, increase compliance, consolidate spend and manage more spend under contract. This position will increase contract utilization, spend on contract, and improve the member experience by maximizing their education dollars. This will be accomplished by presenting member focused solutions utilizing data analytics, proven success in developing and deploying procurement strategies using strategic sourcing methodologies within higher education.
