Collaboration will Support COVID-Related Procurement for Education
July 30, 2020 –E&I Cooperative Services (E&I), the only member-owned, non-profit sourcing cooperative focused solely on education, has formed a strategic partnership with e-Literate, an organization dedicated to helping higher education enable more students to succeed.
E&I will be contributing its Recovery Solutions Navigator to e-Literate’s Empirical Educator Project (EEP) as a resilience network procurement solution. E&I’s Recovery Solutions Navigator is a comprehensive tool aimed at helping institutions easily find the COVID-related products and services they need to aid in their recovery efforts. EEP is a network of higher education institutions and providers that focuses on ensuring student success while helping schools adapt to changing educational needs.
“At a time when education needs even greater support, E&I’s participation in the Empirical Educator Project is incredibly important,” said Michael Feldstein, e-Literate’s Chief Accountability Officer. “E&I’s comprehensive Recovery Solutions Navigator will be extremely valuable in helping institutions procure the COVID-related technology products and services they need quickly and efficiently – which is top priority in this challenging environment.”
As part of this new partnership, e-Literate will advise E&I on areas of need in teaching, learning, and student success. E&I and EEP will also collaborate on the creation and execution of procurement processes that effectively incorporate research and evidence of impact. The result will be an easier process for institutions to evaluate and procure instructional technology products, services, and solutions that have a proven impact on educational outcomes.
