E&I National Coalition on Enterprise Systems & Services Welcomes New Member

Please welcome Brian Hutzley as our newest member of the E&I National Coalition on Enterprise Systems and Services, which helps drive the strategic direction of E&I’s Technology category.

Brian joined Centre College in 2016 and is currently the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer. A Michigan native with a B.S. in accounting from Michigan State University and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University, Brian previously served as Vice President for Finance and Administration at Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y. He has an impressive 30-year record of service in both the private and not-for-profit sectors, including key leadership roles at public and private universities.

Before Colgate, Brian served as Vice Chancellor and CFO for the State University of New York (SUNY) system, the country’s largest public higher education system with 64 campuses. Brian was responsible for overseeing the $12 billion annual operating budget, along with relevant finance and budget areas in addition to financial aid and information technology.

Brian will utilize his wealth of knowledge and experience to help the National Coalition in its efforts to address higher education’s technology needs and challenges. He will also assist in the Coalition’s mission to help solution providers devise innovative approaches to product development efforts that help shape evolving business practices. Additionally, Brian will help the Coalition achieve its key objectives.
