March 27, 2018 – E&I Cooperative Services (E&I) has expanded its portfolio of contracts with eight new agreements. These contracts are designed to help higher education, K-12, and related educational institutions reduce costs, optimize supply chain efficiencies, and save time on the request for proposal (RFP) process. Members can now access new contracts from: Transformations Furniture, FieldTurf, Sauder Education, Worldwide Sourcing Group (WWSG), VS America, MityLite, Inc., Nikon Instruments, Inc., and Humanscale Corporation.
E&I has significantly expanded its offering of contracts focused on interiors, with a special emphasis on sustainable, renewable furniture. Transformations offers a full line of upholstered lounge furniture designed to be fully renewable through a unique reupholstering method, while Sauder Education focuses on sustainability in manufacturing while creating campus life furniture with easily replaced component parts. E&I has also brought members access to ergonomic, health-conscious furniture with the addition of VS America and Humanscale, as well as a portfolio of award-winning portable, durable event furniture through MityLite.
For athletics, E&I’s new FieldTurf contract offers members synthetic turf, running tracks, indoor athletic flooring, tennis courts, and sports surfacing. In science, Nikon Instruments, Inc. has partnered with E&I to deliver a variety of microscopy products and accessories for clinical, educational, and research applications. Finally, E&I’s new contract with WWSG taps into the needs of safety on and around campus – WWSG and its partner affiliates offer members a free security assessment as well as access to comprehensive security solutions and services such as surveillance, security officers, and crossing guards.
“With these new and exciting contract additions, we are more equipped than ever to offer our members the services and products they need to improve their campuses while optimizing spend,” said Tom Fitzgerald, CEO of E&I. “Our ultimate goal is to bring members value beyond lowered costs, and we are confident that these new business partners will provide much-needed services and solutions to our membership.”
