We were all cruising toward cost savings in our booth at NAEP’s Annual Meeting this year, as members and suppliers slipped behind the wheel of a classic ‘66 Corvette.
‘The Biggest Little Cooperative in the World’ rocked the exhibit hall with a classic car themed booth inspired by Reno’s legendary Hot August Nights – a vintage car show that’s the area’s biggest annual event. We’re so thankful to all of our members who stopped by to chat, and to the 46 business partners who participated in this year’s show. We’d also like to extend our appreciation to B&H and Staples for each generously donating a $250 gift card to be raffled off to our members.
After two days of taking care of business in the exhibit hall, the fun and fellowship continued at the Member Supplier Mixer. The mixer theme was a creative combination of Hot August Nights and snowy Tahoe days, complete with more classic cars, a ski lift, and some truly incredible décor to set the mood. The band kept the crowd on their feet for hours, as tasty festival-style treats were enjoyed by all.
More than just a networking opportunity, the Annual Meeting is a chance to participate in a variety of educational programs. E&I members and business partners presented sessions on a number of important topics, including supply chain management, what it really takes to be a leader, managing supplier performance with advanced analytics, and so much more.
We’re incredibly grateful for this opportunity to spend face-to-face time with our members and business partners, and we can’t wait to see you in Orlando next year!
